What's in a name??

Decisions, decisions...

Marcus and I are having a bit of trouble coming up with a name for the new baby. I don't know if boy's names just aren't as cool as girls names, but nothing I've seen or heard is doing it for me.
I need help.

It was hard for us, too... we didn't come up with his name till he was born. My husband wanted to name him some kind of old Japanese samurai name, "Daigoro"!!!! So we kind of gave it up while he was in our stomach... Also, when I was pregnant with my first one and didn't know the gender, I wanted the baby to have daddy's (Eric) name if it was a girl "Erica" and if it's a boy, I wanted to have my name "Ricky". And now I have boy and a girl, they each have our names =) What about something like Nick, Nicholas??? Also, maybe a name "Nick" can have different names in another language. Like in name "John".... "Giovanni" is John in Italian, and "Ian" is John in Hebrew..

I hope this can help you =)

You know me, I think everything is in a name. But that is just me. I like names that mean something, directly or indirectly. And the more "odd" the name, the better. (We give our kids enough back bone to deal with whatever comes your way.) Think your favorite place, vacation, family names...But yes it is important and not easy. And regardless..You will find the perfect name just in time. (I think dad said Stone and I think that is SUPER cute.) But it is YOUR kids so influence or not, what you think best, is.
