Big Weekend

Our 3day weekend was filled with activity... We drove, and drove, and drove... We found beaches and parks, neighborhoods and shops and ended it all with a day trip to the aquarium.

Here are all the pictures!! Please enjoy :)

These are all from the same park.

Sierra's 1st time on a big kid swing :)

She ate a face full of sand just after this was taken :(

The coolest Jungle Gym I've ever seen!

What started out as me & Charlie at brunch at the American Village turned out to be great shots of my hair :).

On our way to the Aquarium we kept spotting these beautiful beaches to our left. Finally we pulled over, walked down a steep flight of old concrete stairs and this is what we found... The water felt great!

A local fisherman

After our detour we finally made it to the aquarium and had a great time.

The lady who took this picture of us first asked if she could take a picture with us. We let her. She was Asian but the language she spoke was not Japanese so I'm not sure where she was from. She was however very happy to be in a picture with us!! She even threw up the peace sign. It was pretty funny. I should've asked her to stay in our picture but I didn't think about it until we had already started walking away.

There was a play area.

Of course Charlie couldn't get her hands dirty.

That whale shark in the backround is much bigger than it looks!!!

End.

What a beautiful place. The girls are so lucky to be able to travel and see different cultures. I will probably never see Japan, or any country, besides Mexico, in my lifetime. I hope they really experience and treasure this opportunity and remember it, someday telling their own children. Glad you guys aren't just staying inside, afraid to explore. How's the food? Eat anything interesting?

@ Jen- You miss that kind of stuff in AZ right??? I'll post pics of the house as soon as we move in :).
@ Brit- I agree about our family being lucky to experience this (wow, did I just say that). This place is too pretty to just stay inside so I plan on seeing everything! The food is amazing!! I haven't eaten anything too crazy yet, but I've seen lots of crazy stuff.
Never say never about you guys. Seriously you don't know what great things your life holds for you!!
