When am I gonna get married?

That's the question my four year old daughter asked my husband and I not two hours ago.
Marcus and I responded that she can get married when she's a grown up, to which she replied...
"But I want to find a beautiful boy and get married now. And you know what, Sam is really nice and I think he might be the right one for me... I'm gonna marry Samuel!"

WHAT!?!?!?

Needless to say we're giving the princess movies a rest for a while.

This is Sam and Charlie at her birthday party by the way...

They were a little too cozy for me that day too...

"I LOVE YOU Charlie...a bushel and a peck and a barrel and a heap. I miss you Charlie!"

Matthew's words to Charlie. :)

Hi Nikkie:
It is such an interesting journey with children as they grow right before our eyes. As a parent one of my most special joys were the conversations, questions and discussions. Especially the conversations which they initiate with us are quite unexpected and amazing;which are candid, honest, creative and surprising! Love it!

@ Dad- Tell Devon as much as we appreciate her willingness to share her wedding day, that's just not gonna work for us.

@ Matthew- I'll show this to Charlie as soon as she gets home from school :).

@ Aunt Sharon- It's crazy isn't it?

@ Bri- I will make a guarantee right now that that won't happen! :)

@ Dinar- yeah.

@ RiRi- DJ doesn't have to worry- Sam can't take Charlie on a date for at least 12-13yrs.

Awwww this is too cute. Gotta love the innocence of kids. She will definitely laugh and enjoy hearing about these stories when she is older :-)

Very cute pictures Nikkie. It's good that little ones have wishes and remember what your husband said to you and the world on your wedding day and I quote "the best day of my life was the day you were born". So just maybe Charlie's wish came to her in a dream. HAHAHA!!!!!!.

love Mom/Dad
